Your Boiler Service Questions Answered

How often do I need my boiler serviced?

Your boiler should be serviced once a year.  If you use an AGA year-round, then it should be serviced twice a year.

What will you do during a boiler service?

We give it a thorough clean, removing the filters, baffles, tubelators and burner.  We then inspect all parts for wear and tear.  We replace the nozzle and feed line before putting it back together and tuning it using the latest electronic analysis equipment to give its maximum efficiency and correct readings.  We then provide you with an service sheet and a digital readout of its efficiency and emissions.

What if I have problems with my heating after a boiler service?

If it is a problem relating directly to the service we will rectify it free of charge.

Are your technicians fully licensed?

Yes our technicians are all OFTEC trained, are Worcester & Grant approved service engineers, as well as being approved by Rayburn (who own AGA) and have been accepted into the Rayburn guild.

Why should I have my boiler serviced by Moorland Fuels and not someone else?

We are a local company and are committed to doing excellent work for you.  Almost 85 percent of our engineers’ work comes from repeat business due to the quality of service we provide.

Do you do emergency call out if my boiler breaks down?

Yes.  We aim to get to you asap, at a time to suit you.  We carry a wide range of parts on our vans to get your appliance operating straightaway.
